Crab Cakes
Crab cakes with a Thai twist! Super yummy and easy! Adapted from Gwyneth Paltrow's It's All Easy cookbook.
Equipment
- 1 Air Fryer or large skillet/frying pan
Ingredients
- 2 Cans Crab Meat
- ¾ Cup Rice "Bread" Crumbs
- 3 Green Onions
- 1 Large Egg
- 3 Tbsp. Mayonnaise or Vegenaise
- 1 Tbsp. Fish Sauce
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- 1 tsp Lime Juice
- ½ tsp Sriracha Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
Instructions
- Drain liquid from can and add crab to large mixing bowl.
- Chop green onions. Add green onions, egg, mayonnaise, basil, fish sauce, lime, sriracha and rice crumbs to bowl.
- If you are using an air fryer, spray avocado oil to coat the basket. If you are using a frying pan, heat 1 Tbsp. oil on medium heat. Make patties about ½ inch thick and place in air fryer basket or frying pan so the patties are not touching (approx 8 patties).
- If you are using an air fryer, spray patties with avocado oil. Set air fryer to 325℉ for 12 minutes.If you are using a frying pan, cook patties for 5-7 minutes on low-med heat, flip the patties and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Serve with your favourite sauce (e.g. sweet chili sauce).
