Smashed Potatoes
A fun and tasty way to serve potatoes! You can fancy them up by garnishing them with parsley for more formal dinners.
Equipment
- 1 Medium Pot
- 1 Large Baking Sheet
Ingredients
- 1½ lb. Baby Potatoes
- Avocado Oil
- Garlic Powder
- Sea Salt
Instructions
- Put baby potatoes in a medium size pot and cover with water. Place on stovetop and set to high heat. Bring water to boil and boil potatoes for 20-25 minutes.
- While potatoes are boiling, lightly grease a large baking sheet with butter or oil.
- After potatoes have boiled for 20-25 minutes and can be easily pierced by a fork, drain water.
- Preheat the oven to 450℉.
- Spoon potatoes on to the baking sheet one by one, and with the base of a mug, smash each potato flat.
- Drizzle each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and sea salt.
- Roast the potatoes in the oven for 25-30 minutes until crispy on the edges and slightly browned on the bottom.
- Garnish with parsley if you wish.
