Smashed Potatoes

A fun and tasty way to serve potatoes! You can fancy them up by garnishing them with parsley for more formal dinners.

Equipment

  • 1 Medium Pot
  • 1 Large Baking Sheet

Ingredients
  

  • lb. Baby Potatoes
  • Avocado Oil
  • Garlic Powder
  • Sea Salt

Instructions
 

  • Put baby potatoes in a medium size pot and cover with water. Place on stovetop and set to high heat. Bring water to boil and boil potatoes for 20-25 minutes.
  • While potatoes are boiling, lightly grease a large baking sheet with butter or oil.
  • After potatoes have boiled for 20-25 minutes and can be easily pierced by a fork, drain water.
  • Preheat the oven to 450℉.
  • Spoon potatoes on to the baking sheet one by one, and with the base of a mug, smash each potato flat.
  • Drizzle each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and sea salt.
  • Roast the potatoes in the oven for 25-30 minutes until crispy on the edges and slightly browned on the bottom.
  • Garnish with parsley if you wish.
