MYND Yourself
MYND Yourself is about taking care of yourself and your family through meal planning with recipes based on whole/unprocessed foods and some minimally processed foods.
MYND Yourself will focus on the basics of healthy eating, starting with dinner meal planning, and then will incorporate weekly meal prep ideas and recipes for healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks as we progress through 2025.
We often bite off more than we can chew, so to speak, when we decide we are going to make lifestyle changes to improve our health but the key to success is to make smaller, more manageable changes that we can sustain. I live in Coquitlam, BC with my wonderful husband and two amazing daughters. Although I have worked in the natural health products industry for 20 years, my personal wellness journey started 12 years ago when I switched from a processed foods based diet to a “real” whole foods based diet. I then took it a step further (maybe more than a step) and became a Registered Holistic Nutritionist 10 year ago.
I would like to share my meal planning techniques and recipes with others to help them prepare healthy whole food based meals for themselves and their families. One of my daughters is celiac, and my other daughter and I are gluten intolerant, so my recipes are gluten-free. I am also allergic to cow’s milk/dairy and everyone in our household is lactose intolerant so most of my recipes are dairy free.
